Born from a bold vision, AURA by Aqualand represents a new era for North Sydney. This iconic address sets a new precedent for luxury harbourside living with the most spacious apartment residences on offer in the sought-after suburb and boasting a curated collection of world-class amenities.

Award-winning integrated property developer Aqualand brought together world-class experts to bring this vision to life, including award-winning architecture firm Woods Bagot, internationally renowned interior architects Richards Stanisich, and landscape architects Turf Design Studio. The result of this collaboration? A remarkable residential and lifestyle precinct that perfectly symbolises North Sydney’s sophisticated future.

“Aqualand is proud to contribute to creating more vibrant, cohesive communities around Sydney,” said Aqualand Managing Director Jin Lin.

“AURA by Aqualand is a tangible example of our deep commitment to architectural ambition and design excellence.

“Through its residential, retail, and commercial spaces, the building will breathe new life into North Sydney, delivering vibrant and carefully considered spaces to live, work, and play.”

Acclaimed architects Woods Bagot sought to create an elegant building that would not only breathe new life to the locale, but redefine the streetscape and city skyline. In Aqualand, they found a partner willing to embrace sculptural forms that would make the building more interesting, not only to residents, but also the wider community.

“Sculptural buildings are harder to draw, document, and build,” explained Jason Fraser, Principal at Woods Bagot.

“Many of Sydney’s most famous sculptural buildings, from the Sydney Opera House to Barangaroo House and The Exchange, are designed with an obvious community benefit in mind.

“However, AURA by Aqualand represents an impressive and ambitious commitment by a residential developer to give back to the community architecturally.”

Inside, the Woods Bagot-designed precinct will comprise 386 luxury apartments of one to four-bedroom floorplans.

“The apartments are very spacious and each one is a slightly different size because each floor has a different depth,” Jason continued.

“That means we’re never squeezing a small apartment into a curve.

“They’re benefiting from the deep reveals, by making the most of the expansive frontages to create more liveable spaces.”

Kirsten Stanisich, Director of Richards Stanisich – the interior designers behind AURA’s exquisite residences, details the design of this collection.

“We’ve carefully curated every AURA residence to be elegantly restrained, with simple but cultivated detailing,” Kirsten explained.

“Beautifully proportioned monolithic stone island blocks in the kitchens are a stylish focal point in the heart of each home.

“While throughout the residence, gracefully proportioned, refined natural timbers and veneers, and radiant mosaic tiling, contrasted against natural stone, respond to the abundance of natural light and expansive views across Sydney.

“Thoughtful consideration has also been given to the design of the robes and storage to continue the design language throughout the apartment.

“All together, the interiors bring a sense of serenity and retreat.”

With renowned landscape architect Turf Design Studio on deck, AURA’s ‘luxury’ facet extends to its landscaping, created to reflect the unique local environment of North Sydney’s characterful suburb.

“All the benefits of the classic lower density North Sydney landscape, characterised by its cottages and Federation architecture, will be reflected with sandstone walls and a potpourri of delicate cascading plants and climbers with little bursts of colour providing the greenness and coolness this offers,” said Turf Design Studio Director, Mike Horne.

“We’re not just providing garden beds but offering the community a landscape experience that begins at the street, and as they move through the sites’ threshold and entries, it intensifies the landscape experience.”

Complete with a world-class amenity offering that includes an indoor pool, gym, expansive sun deck with dining and entertainment areas, and a beautiful multi-level hospitality precinct curated by Etymon Projects, the team behind AURA has truly redefined luxury apartment living.

Construction is well underway with Aqualand’s in-house construction arm, with over 80% of the development complete.

“We intend to be in the luxury market for generations to come, so our reputation for delivering the best possible quality is of paramount importance to us,” added Jin.

“That’s why we developed our own in-house construction arm, to ensure our build quality is second to none and truly lasts the test of time.”

One, two, three, and four-bedroom residences are selling from $1,150,000.
